Mission

Our mission is to provide safe, supervised housing and to meet the critical need for education, job skills and support services that will guide the girls into self-sufficiency.

Zoe’s Place is designed to meet these goals in a supportive, caring environment, drawing on each girl’s strengths so that she may realize her full potential.

All pregnant teens and teen mothers in Bergen County are eligible to receive our services.

Zoe's Place

We are excited to announce that our home in Garfield has finally opened. Our home became a reality due to the generosity and support of countless individuals and community groups. The house can accommodate up to five teens and their babies. Each resident has a private room in a beautiful, newly renovated home. We have a full-time housemother who is committed to creating a safe, supportive, structured environment while overseeing the daily operations of the house. Additionally, we have a Program Director on site, who is a licensed social worker, providing case management, advocacy, and planning for each teen and her child.

This is all possible because of the generous financial donations from individuals, donors, companies, and foundations that have assisted us. We would like to thank Ikea, Oritani Bank, The George Link Foundation, and The Stratton Foundation for their support. A special thanks to Glen Lumia and Creative Design Construction for your amazing contributions. We couldn't have done it without your insight, commitment, enthusiasm, and generosity. It was truly a community effort. Thank you all!
